Age: 20
Bloodline: Muggleborn
Gender: Female
Job: Auror
Standing: Sentinel
Plot: Alicia is continuing what she trained to do- Hunt down dark wizards. After the take over of the ministry it's more personal now- She lost a lot of friends; and she wants to avenge them.
Personality: Alicia is very much the same girl she was back in Hogwarts. She's incredibly loyal to those she considers friends. That would include most people she knows. She's naive when it comes to giving out her trust. Since the Ministry was taken, it has opened her eyes a bit, making her realize that not everyone is as good as she expects and hopes for. Despite this, Alicia tends to be optimistic and doesn't usually see the 'bad' in someone until its too late.
Generally brave in nature, Alicia doesn't always think things through. She comes up with a plan; and jumps into action- not caring for the consequences until they actually come about. As an Auror, this worked both for and against her. The element of surprise was always a wonderful thing- but some of the tight spots she got herself into weren't worth it. Alicia is also a very honest girl, not always thinking before she says something- which sometimes can cause hurt feelings. As Alicia isn't very big, physical fighting isn't her forte- instead, she relies quite a bit on her magic. She always excelled a bit at DADA and Charms whereas she didn't get such great marks in Transfiguration.
History: Alicia Lynne Spinnet was born to Anne and Patrick Spinnet, their only child. Both Anne and Patrick were muggles. Patrick a Veterinarian and Anne; a stay at home mother. She grew up as a normal muggle child would. She adored her mother, and took great joy in being her shadow as a child. Wherever her mother went, Alicia followed, wanting to learn what Anne was doing and to do it too.
Neither of her parents suspected anything 'different' of their daughter until she was about seven. That was when odd things began to happen. On her seventh birthday, little Alicia who loved to be the center of attention, felt left out at the restaurant-- and the cake exploded; covering everyone but the little blond girl in goo. At nine, she got terribly upset at her father for not allowing her to have a friend over to spend the night- and the electricity started to flicker. There were countless other instances... which were all explained when she was eleven. That was when she received her Hogwarts letter. She was a witch!
After the initial shock wore off, and her father regained consciousness, both of her parents took the news pretty well- realizing that their little girl was even more special than they'd thought. They took her to the train station and off she was to Hogwarts. It was on the train that she met her best friends- Angelina Johnson and Oliver Wood. Angie was a first year like herself and Oliver was a third year. Both girls were sorted into the same house as Wood, and it was in fact those two that introduced Alicia to flying and subsequently Quidditch. Once they finally got her on a broom and in the pitch her second year; Oliver who was then a fourth year and the Gryffindor team captain placed her on the reserve team. In her third year, she was given the position of chaser along with Angie and a second year Katie Bell. That was also the year Harry Potter came to Hogwarts.
The next few years went by rather smoothly for Alicia- up until in her seventh year, when Professor Umbridge came to teach their Defense Against the Dark Arts class. As the ghastly woman wouldn't actually teach them Defense, she joined up with the DA- Dumbledore's Army along with Angelina and Katie. After she found out about the happenings at the Department of Mysteries, Alicia decided that she wanted to help. After her graduation from Hogwarts, she enrolled in Auror training.
In the training, Alicia made several new friends, some that were excellent witches and wizards. Incredible Aurors. Unfortunately, when the Death Eaters took over the ministry, several of them were killed-- and many who weren't were traitors that had turned on their friends. She along with the other ministry members who managed to escape were lucky. Since that time, Alicia has joined up with the Sentinals- unable to just forget about all of her friends that were slaughtered for their beliefs.
Appearance: All in all, Alicia is tiny. Standing at 5'3" and weighing in at 110 lbs. She's got long hair, which she's always experimenting with. Currently, it's blond with blue highlights. Her eyes are a dark brown, framed by long dark lashes. She has pierced ears and a tattoo of a butterfly with a tiger face on her left shoulder.
(general appearance- jessica simpson)
Role Play Sample: (meh, same one I used for Alexis- if it's not alright to do that, let me know and I'll fix.)
A dull sickening thud was heard as the man landed on a table which collapsed underneath him. He blinked wearily as he heard sharp footsteps walking over to him; he glanced up to where the wisp of a girl stood over him. The girl who'd sent him tumbling onto the table. The light framed her, putting a golden cast to her hair; which as she tilted her head to one side made her look almost like an angel.
Alexis took another step closer to the man, crouching down over him, giving him a sweet smile, "Think it's alright to get grabby with a girl do you?" She asked softly, her voice sounding just a hint sultry. Reaching down, and lifting the man's chin, she could tell he was still a little dazed from her stunner spell and the fact that she'd sent him sprawling into the table- His eyes were still having a bit of trouble focusing. Her smile turned a bit sadistic as she moved one hand to the base of her back; brandishing a small dagger that she had sheathed there. The blade glinted even in the dull light behind her. She saw him eyes widen and focus instantly, 'Ah... there. He's back with me now.' "You do realize... That. Wasn't. Nice." Without the slightest bit of hesitation, she brought the blade down, slicing deeply into his left hand- the one that he'd grabbed her with. The man howled; cradling his hand over his chest- because as quickly as she'd been there, Alexis was standing over him again. A lazy smirk crossing her lips as she turned away.
