Name: Andrew Damien Derrick - actually goes by Drew
Canon Character, Original, or Canon Related: Canon
List your other accounts and the matching characters: ali, Alicia Spinnet
Age: 20
Bloodline: Mixed
Gender: Male
Job: Obliviator
Standing: Death Eater Supporter (currently)
Plot: Drew is hoping to work his way into the Death Eaters. He'd like to say that its because of his unwavering loyalty to Voldemort- but that'd be a flat out lie. He's out for saving his own skin. He sees the Death Eaters as the strongest side of the coming war and he wants to be aligned with the winner. (Side note: I'm not entirely sure I want him to end up 'evil' but that's currently how he's standing)
Personality: Drew, in his heart, is that of a true Slytherin. He's self serving, self indulgant and also a bit self absorbed. He's more than a bit conceited, as he's good looking and he knows it- using it to his own advantage. He's really good with words and an excellent liar. He can be very manipulative- and has a very small conscience. He's also mouthy and very sarcastic.
Despite the flaws that Drew has, he 'can' be a good guy. He's a lot of fun to be around. He takes very few things seriously- preferring to look at life as a joke instead. He kids about everything. He's loyal to his allies and those who he considers true friends. Drew's very proud of who he is; how he carries himself and what he accomplished prior to the Ministry take-over. His pride does tend to get him in to trouble.
Drew is stubborn to a fault. Once he decides on something- it's very difficult to draw his attention away or to change his mind. This can be both a blessing and a curse. It shows that he's driven, but also can be stupid in holding onto his own opinion. As stated before, he's an excellent liar; and can talk his way out of most confrontations. He's good with charms and transfiguration; but poor with potions. The basics he can do- anything beyond that; he'll seek help.
History: Born the eldest child of a half blood witch and a muggle born wizard; Andrew Damien Derrick lived life as a normal underaged wizard would. He was introduced to magic young; and read about the theory and history behind it. He wanted to be well prepared for when he got his letter to Hogwarts. Drew was by no means only a book worm though; in fact quite the opposite. He received his first broom when he was four- and he took to it right away.
When he reached age eleven, Drew received his Hogwarts letter- something he'd been waiting for as long as he could remember. Drew was sorted into Slytherin- a house in which he felt quite at home. He may not have been a pureblood, but he had the personality. He loved the classes and, well... he enjoyed some of the instructors. Like most students, he excelled in some classes; wasn't so great in others. He enjoyed and picked up on Charms the best- Potions, was the other end of that spectrum. He did well enough to get by; but he hated every minute of it. He joined the quidditch team in his third year; becoming one of the two beaters.
Once graduation came about, Drew joined the ministry; starting out on the Accidental Magic Reversal Squad. After being in that position for nearly a year and a half, he was promoted to Obliviator after some testing by the heads of the department. Drew was young; but quite capable. Of course, there were still stories of Voldemort's return. Some of the odd happenings made Drew question if the Dark Lord truly had returned. He did some investigating of his own and realized... It was only a matter of time before a move was made on the Minstry. Now as much as he hated traitors- Drew wasn't stupid. He didn't want to be one of the casulaties when that move was made. He found a Death Eater and started feeding some information. Just enough to cover himself and hopefully to make himself more valuble to the Death Eaters. Which obviously has worked thus far- as he wasn't killed in the battle for the Ministry. Currently, he's working towards becoming a full fledged Death Eater.

Role Play Sample:
~Set at the taking of the Ministry~
Watching the destruction around him; Drew tried to keep an impassive look on his face. The Death Eaters had finally made their move. The chaos around him spoke volumes about the outcome. There were casulaties from both sides; but the majority of the bodies littering the floor were Ministry workers. His lips twitched downward as his gaze skimmed around the room. Several of them had been his friends. Even those that weren't, he didn't really have anything against them.
As his gaze roamed, a moving hand caught Drew's attention. One of the younger ministry workers- One he'd considered a friend- Alive! Taking a few steps forward, Drew was stopped by a Death Eater stepping in front of him. "Well done, Derrick." The Death Eater said, calling him by his last name, "Now, after one last task; you'll have proven your loyalty." A cruel smirk crossed the man's lips, as he raised his hand to point at the injured worker. "Get rid of her."
Drew's blue eyes widened; and before he even thought about it, the word, "No!" had already come out of his mouth. The Death Eaters eyebrow arched at the young man before him. Defiance danced in the young man's eyes.
"You aren't ready to become one of us then."
