Bloodline: Muggle Born
Gender: Male
Job: Daily Prophet Reporter
Standing: Order Supporter; DA Member
Plot:
This curly haired Hufflepuff has been on the side opposite You-Know-Who for as long as he can remember. Being born to a pair of loving muggle parents, the cause of the Death Eaters hits way too close to home for Justin to do nothing. Taking up arms alongside many of his fellow students against their horrid DADA teacher as a member of Dumbledoore's Army, Justin has since transfered his energy to supporting the Order, and doing the best he can in the war thrust upon the wizarding world.
Personality:
Exhibiting all of the best qualities of his house, Justin came into the world a shy, shy boy. Keeping mostly to himself, and occasionaly his housemates, Justin was fiercly loyal, and immensely proud of every accomplishment he had. As he grew older, and found himself petrified early on in his Hogwarts years, Justin began to come out of his shell, reaching out to many of the students in his year, with the exception of the Slytherins. Taunted often for being a 'mudblood' Justin grew thick skin towards their remarks, but eventually the comments got the best of him, and his heated temper, and he found himself occupying a bed in the hospital wing for a few days recovering from a hex, and/or jinx.
Proud to the point of being arrogant Justin has trouble admitting when he's wrong, and he loves to dwelve deep into mysteries, and secrets, something that makes the former Hufflepuff the perfect reporter, but not, so great a friend at times. While Justin is hardly unskilled with a wand, he was never exactly the best in his year, and was dreadfully awful at potions, being overshadowed only by the mistakes of Neville Longbottom.
History:
Born to a pair of loving parents, Justin Finch-Fletchley entered this world on the 17th of May, 1980. His mother - Miranda Finch was a homemaker, and his father Eric Fletchley was a professonal football player. As a child Justin found his time split between schoolwork, and travelling to his father's various games, and events. While he achieved decent grades, and was even accepted to the prestigious Eton Academy before getting his Hogwarts letter Justin was most interested by the different cultures, and countries he saw while travelling with his father.
Like every wizard before him, Justin's powers became fully evident on his 11th birthday when he was accepted into Hogwarts. While it took a while for his parents to soak in the news, they were very supportive of their son, and did the best they could to prepare him for the new world he was about to enter, making sure that he had the best supplies they could afford. Justin was promptly sorted into Hufflepuff soonafter his arrival, and happily went to join his housemates.
While Justin's years at Hogwarts were during a time of great trial, and tribulation he did his best to percivere, and come out on top. Unfortunetly life had other plans for him. For example, during
his second year during a meeting of the illfated Hogwarts dueling club Justin found himself face to face with a venomous snake that he believed was being edged on by none other than the Boy Who Lived - Harry Potter. After storming out of the dueling club in a huff, Justin did his best to avoid Potter, but unfortunetly that wasn't enough. Midway through the year he found himself once again face to face with a venomous creature, this time a Basilisk. Luckily for him the Gryffindor ghost Nearly Headless Nick happened to be passing by, and saved Justin from an untimely death, although he did remain petrified for the remainder of the school year.
Once he was revived, and the situation explained to him Justin gave Harry a hurried apology, something quite difficult for him since he's not one who enjoys being proven wrong. The next school year, Justin's third at Hogwarts proved fairly uneventful, but the next one brought with it such a marvelous series of events that brought Hufflepuff House to it's feet, and then it's knees all in one year.
Amid the frigid winds of November, Cedric Diggory a hero among Hufflepuffs, and an idol to many was selected as Hufflepuff champion. Justin was among many of his housemates who lept to his feet cheering, and applauding as loud as he possibly could. Unfortunetly the addition of Harry Potter to the tournament quickly turned the Hufflepuffs from celebration to loathing, and turned the house on Gryffindor for the remainder of the year.
Justin did his best to display some house pride, and cheered for Cedric with all his might, until the Third Task. When the Tri Wizard Cup first reappeared Justin was rather upset to see Potter holding it, but then a swirl of yellow, and black caught his attention. Like many of his housemates Justin was quick to rush from his seat to see what had happened, but they were quickly pushed back by their Professors. Eventually rumours began to spread among the crowd, and as the cries of Amos Diggory became louder the realization of it all hit Justin with full force - Cedric was dead.
Like many of his housemates, Justin was devestated. Cedric had been someone he looked up to, almost like a big brother, and his life had been snuffed out faster than it took for the news to sink in. The Hufflepuff had brought much glory to his house, he'd done everything right, never sacrificing what he believed in, and in the end he became just another casualty in the war that was sweeping the wizarding world.
For Justin, this was a turning point in his life. You-Know-Who was back, and there was no such thing as neutral. Whether you picked a side, or remained unbiast, you were just as much a target as anyone else, and to the young Hufflepuff it seemed better to go out fighting then anything else.
The rebelious attitude continued to grow in Justin, and the following year he joined Dumbledoore's Army, a group that would become instrumental in later years to help keep their beloved school safe. Soonafter graduation Justin readily signed up to fight alongside his fellow DA members in the war that was now visibly errupting around them. Justin quickly found work as a reporter, where he would be in the perfect position to pick up any rumours, or gossip of events in the wizarding community. However Justin's love for other countries, and their cultures has never wavered over the years, and he hopes to someday, once the war is over to travel the world, and explore the vast paradise that surrounds him.

[Some godmoding, I hope that's alright. Set in Justin's fourth year]
"He's dead! Justin, Cedric's dead!" Hannah Abbot shrieked before burrying her head on Justin's shoulder. "Don't be ridiculous!" Justin snapped back. "He can't be dead, not Cedric." He added, craining his neck to try, and get a better view of the commotion going on down below. Ernie had ran down to the field to see what he could find out, but Justin had long since lost his shape amidst the scattered bodies of students milling about.
As the whispers around him grew louder a single loud cry pierced the air, putting a quick stop to all chatter. At the foot of the stands the tall figure of Amos Diggory had collapsed to the ground, and the tears were freely flowing down his cheeks. Only one thing could've brought that grown man to his knees, and it was something terrible. "No! NO!" Justin hollered, lashing out angerly with his sneaker at the discarded Hufflepuff banner that lay on the stands by his feet. Cedric Diggory could not be dead.
